1. About these terms

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Keynsham Dog Park website and booking service operated by Keynsham Dog Park Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales.

By booking a session or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Our service

We provide private, enclosed dog field hire in Keynsham, Bristol. Each session gives the booking holder exclusive use of one designated area for the duration of their booked time slot. Sessions are 50 minutes long with a 10-minute buffer between bookings to allow safe arrival and departure.

3. Booking and payment

  • All bookings are made online through our website and are subject to availability.
  • Payment is taken at the time of booking via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.
  • A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation email.
  • Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes do not affect bookings already confirmed.

4. Cancellation and refunds

  • You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 4 hours before the start of your session.
  • Cancellations made within 4 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.
  • Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed via Stripe to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear.
  • We may cancel or reschedule bookings due to extreme weather, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or the option to rebook will be offered.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any booking at our discretion and issue a full refund.

5. Rules of use

By booking a session, you agree to the following rules:

  • You are responsible for your dog(s) at all times during your session.
  • A maximum of 3 dogs per booking from the same household, unless otherwise agreed.
  • All dogs must have current standard vaccinations.
  • You must clean up after your dog(s). Poo bags and bins are provided on site.
  • You must vacate the area promptly at the end of your booked session to allow the next booking to proceed.
  • Use the double-gate airlock system when entering and leaving. Close the first gate behind you before opening the second.
  • Do not allow your dog to dig under, jump over, or damage the fencing.
  • No smoking, vaping, or alcohol consumption on site.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

6. XL Bully and restricted breeds

XL Bullies and other dogs registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended) are welcome at Keynsham Dog Park, subject to the following conditions:

  • The dog must be muzzled and on a lead in the car park and on all paths outside the enclosed field.
  • You must hold a valid Certificate of Exemption and be able to show it on request.
  • The dog must be covered by third-party liability insurance as required by law.
  • Once inside the enclosed field, muzzles may be removed and the dog may be off-lead.

7. Liability

  • You use the park at your own risk. We provide the enclosed field and facilities, but you are solely responsible for the supervision and behaviour of your dog(s) and any accompanying persons.
  • We are not liable for any injury to you, your dog(s), or any third party arising from your use of the park, except where such injury is caused by our negligence.
  • We are not liable for any loss of or damage to your personal property while on site.
  • You are liable for any damage caused by your dog(s) to the park, its equipment, fencing, or facilities. We reserve the right to charge you for the cost of repairs.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Weather and ground conditions

The park is outdoors and open in all weather conditions. The ground may be muddy, uneven, or slippery, particularly between October and March. We recommend appropriate footwear. A weather shelter is provided on site.

We do not offer refunds for bookings affected by rain, mud, or cold weather. If conditions are genuinely unsafe (e.g. flooding, storm damage), we will contact you to offer a reschedule or refund.

9. Accounts

  • You may create an account to manage your bookings and dog profiles.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must not create an account using someone else's identity or email address.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, design, logos, and photographs — is owned by or licensed to Keynsham Dog Park Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

11. Third-party services

Our website uses third-party services including Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (image hosting), and Klaviyo (email marketing). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the park shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
